Will there be a dvd quality download when its released? IE VIDEO_TS, .vob and what not?
Good question slava, I know you're following this blog from the beginning so I guess you're excited about this as much as we are.
We will definitely be making a dvd version of SoF, probably at first with a few extras but afterwards we're going to release a director's cut. If it will be available for download? I don't know... maybe if we can find mirrors but at this stage it's difficult to determine what we'll be doing on final release.
Torrent maybe a really good option for distribution but the key will be in the clients. The reason why I asked about the dvd quality release is because I really want to watch the movie on a large tv screen with a surround sound system instead of my small monitor. It really brings the whole machinima experience closer to a real production which you guys have already done a phenomenal job on. So keep on leading the revolution because one day you'll see machinima in the movies.

WOW. "sands of fire" trailer, is one of the most awsome trailers i have seen for a game movie. id love to see the final version of that right now!
i have to say, that its the most professional piece of video i have seen made from game footage, the effects and camera angles...! wow!
